A true gem in the community — not just for the finds, but for the people.
While you can discover hidden treasures at any thrift store, what truly sets this one apart is the incredible team of volunteers and staff. They’ve consistently shown kindness and generosity whenever I’ve had questions or needed help. Most recently, I brought in some baby clothes my newborn had outgrown. They not only accepted the donation but also recommended a local women’s shelter that distributes clothing to those in need. After a brief chat, one of the staff members kindly offered to take the items directly, as they were heading there anyway.
I’ve been visiting this store since my time in White Rock, and over the past five years, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Their dedication to the community and genuine care for others make this place truly special.

WorldServe Thrift store is a community staple offering everything you need for yourself and your home. The only local thrift store to offer furniture. Staff and volunteers are kind and friendly. Space is clean and organized. Low prices and lots of selection. Proceeds fund projects locally and globally improving the lives of vulnerable men, women and children. Ethical and responsible organization. Happy donor and shopper! Highly recommended.

I love shopping here but am seriously turned off by the manager with short blonde hair. She follows customers around and talks about homeless people and shoplifters loudly in front of everyone. It’s very offensive and ruins the shopping experience. Also, they randomly decide to close early because they “had bad things happening”. I’m assuming the manager was talking about someone attempting to shoplift. Once they closed at 7:20 instead of 8 pm.
I understand that it’s a challenging location, but have some humanity. Degrading shoppers and the homeless in front of customers, with staff, and WITH customers (yes she even gossips with customers) is HORRIBLE. Also she is extremely rude with her staff and publicly shames them.

I used to shop here whenever I visited parents....but your 'auction' has taken all the fun out of it....you're not thrift store anymore:(
Any 'treasure' is cordoned off...and too pricey now....you got greedy like all thrift stores...there's a reason spots like yours will shed customers...and, sadly, generate bad will....you won't hear it.. but we do....thrift stores getting bad rap now
'Thrift' is just your 'hook' to get us in...Be honest...please...you're now an auction house with cheap kitchen utensils
